Born on the famous limestone terroir of the ‘golden stones’, the 2023 white Clos de Rochebonne Beaujolais is a yearly success. This emblematic white Beaujolais wine expresses all the quality of the Chardonnay grape, with notes of flowers, dried fruit and a fine maturity. The right amount of oak frames this full-bodied, finely buttered and sapid wine. A little marvel to match with trout with beurre blanc or lake fish, a favourite of Olivier Poussier, the best sommelier in the world, rated 92/100.Vinification:
Hand harvested. Pressed with a pneumatic press, then fermented and matured on fine lees for 8 months in barrels of 1 to 10 wines.Certified organic wine.
