Wine:

Marked by a prominent limestone character and a delicate floral touch, the 2022 white Chablis 1er Cru Beauroy is gracefully and effectively presented. Its very restrained aging process enhances a clean, refined, and classic juice, at perfect maturity, that should still be aged in the cellar due to its youthfulness. It will be a delight to open next spring, decanted, paired with seafood or fine fish. This is a cellar-worthy Chablis from a superb terroir, but patience is required as this is also from an exceptional vintage!

Vinification:

Hand-harvested, pneumatically pressed, static settling for 24 to 48 hours.
Alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in stainless steel vats, followed by 18 months' ageing on lees, partly in demi-muids.

Color:

Bright pale yellow.

Nose:

Very Chablisian, with just a hint of shell, but a fine limestone imprint dominates.

Palate:

Pure and fresh, this cuvée delivers a delicate, classic juice that you'll enjoy discovering over the decade.

Serve between 10 and 12°C.
