What a remarkable wine! Rooted in a light marl-limestone soil that imparts great finesse, the 2021 red Beaune 1er Cru Clos des Mouches sings the praises of grand Burgundy. In this vintage, it reveals an exceptional Pinot Noir, both fresh and intense. It opens with a nose of extreme purity, featuring notes of cherry and a subtle hint of oak. The palate reveals a deeply silky texture, with delicate tannins, very fresh, with hints of rose and fine red berries. This elegant style of Pinot from the Côte de Beaune is airy, tangy, digestible, and delicious. A great wine destined for a beautiful evolution. Rated 95/100 by the Selection Committee.

Vinification:

Hand-harvested, aged in French oak barrels (20% new) for 14 to 18 months.
