Wine:

The 2010 Château Figeac Saint-Émilion Grand Cru Classé is a benchmark of the vintage, showcasing exceptional balance and depth. With its velvety texture, intense dark fruit notes, a touch of menthol, and the structured length of Cabernet, it delivers remarkable complexity. This is a wine of impressive finesse and power, offering both immediate appeal and the potential for long-term aging.

Vinification:

Hand harvested. Gentle vinification with extraction at the start of fermentation, punching down of the cap adapted to the characteristics of each plot, maceration with the cap submerged in wooden vats. Malolactic fermentation completed before Christmas. Aged for 20 months in 100% new oak barrels.

Garnet-red with beautiful intensity and brilliance.

Nose:

Intense aromas of dark fruits interwoven with notes of graphite and menthol.

Palate:

Elegant and powerful, this cuvée combines a velvety texture, intense dark fruit, menthol notes, and the commanding length of Cabernet, all tied together with remarkable softness and perfect balance.

Temperature:

Serve at 14-16°C in a large glass.

Grilled beef or lamb, saddle of rabbit with reduced juice, matured Saint-Nectaire cheese.
