A wine rated 94/100 by our Tasting Committee!
Wine:
It’s a "baby Trévallon"! The 2021 Red IGP Alpilles bears a striking resemblance to its famous neighbor, crafted from the same blend of Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cinsault. The pure nose offers hints of graphite and a touch of Syrah's signature smokiness. The fleshy, fresh palate reveals a moderate tannic structure, dominated by black fruit flavors with that smoky note lingering through the finish. The aging is particularly well-executed. This is a fantastic bottle we’ve been eager to share! Limited quantities available for the Prestige Club. Rated 94/100 by our Committee.Vinification:
Hand harvested. Whole-harvest vinification using indigenous yeasts. Aged 12 months in 25 hectoliter tuns, then 12 months in bottle before release. Bottled without fining or filtration.Certified organic wine.
